Asta Sjöblom, MSc (Pol.) has been appointed Communications Manager and member of the Management Team of Finnish Industry Investment Ltd, with effect from 29 August 2005. The post is newly created and the responsibilities include the company's communications and developing public relations. Previously Ms Sjöblom has worked as the Communications Manager in the Finnish Science Park Association TEKEL, the Finnish Medical Society Duodecim, IBM Finland and the Ministry of Education, and also as a journalist for Helsingin Sanomat and Lehtikuva Ltd.
