Aurora Studios to develop the audiovisual ecosystem with a new fund

Finnish production and distribution company Aurora Studios is expanding internationally and will start financing co-productions of Nordic films and TV series. The Finnish Impact Film Fund (FIFF), managed by Aurora Studios, has now grown from EUR 5.5 million to EUR 13.5 million as a result of its second closing at the end of October.

In addition to Tesi, other investors include Finnish Cultural Foundation, Foreningen Konstsamfundet, Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation, AB Kelonia Oy, Saastamoinen Foundation, and Aurora Studios’ owners Otava Oy as well as Aristo-Invest Oy and Baie Capital Oy family offices.

The development of the audiovisual ecosystem and knowhow also enable international productions in Finland.
