Finnish health technology company CurifyLabs has raised approximately USD 14 million in a growth funding round co-led by Sandwater and HealthCap, with participation from Tesi and existing investors, such as Lifeline Ventures.
The company plans to use the funding to expand its operations, particularly in the United States, as well as to strengthen its supply chain, enhance customer support, and accelerate product development.
CurifyLabs automates the production of personalized medicines in pharmacies by combining 3D printing, software, and pharmaceutical excipient bases into a single integrated solution. The technology enables faster and more precise production of tailored medication doses compared to traditional manual processes. CurifyLabs’ solution is in use across multiple U.S. states and in Europe, where it is used to produce thousands of personalized doses every day.
“CurifyLabs is exactly the kind of company we want to support as an investor — innovative, ambitious, and built on strong scientific expertise. The company’s growth in the U.S. demonstrates that Finnish health technology can compete and succeed globally,” says Joni Karsikas, Investment Director at Tesi.
Tesi’s investment in CurifyLabs is its first. Tesi focuses its investment activities on strategically important thematic areas for Finland, such as health technology, with the aim of accelerating the development of expertise clusters and promoting sustainable growth.
