DAL Partners raises EUR 40 million debut fund, with Tesi as anchor investor
New Finnish private equity firm DAL Partners has launched its debut fund of EUR 40 million. The fund will make majority investments in profitable Finnish SMEs, particularly in the services and technology sectors, and support their growth, digitalisation and adoption of AI.
Alongside anchor investor Tesi, the fund’s backers include institutional investors and foundations, Finnish and Swedish family offices, and private investors. A significant share of the investor base consists of entrepreneurs, current and former CEOs of listed companies, and senior operators from growth companies.
DAL Partners focuses on companies with typical revenue of EUR 3–10 million. The fund will invest in only 3–4 companies, enabling a highly hands-on model of active ownership. Members of the investment team step into operational roles in their portfolio companies where useful, for example as CFO, in operations, or to lead M&A. The model is unique in the Finnish private equity market and targets a company size segment where institutional capital remains relatively scarce.

In domestic fund projects, Tesi often acts as an anchor investor. The aim is to strengthen the availability of growth capital. By investing in new GPs, Tesi supports the renewal of the market and the emergence of new growth financing models.
