Emberion, an infrared imaging specialist, raises EUR 6 million in new growth funding
Emberion, a developer of high-performance infrared imaging based on nanomaterials, has raised EUR 6 million in funding from Nidoco AB, Verso Capital and Tesi (Finnish Industry Investment Ltd). The company has patent-protected nanotechnology innovations.
Of the target companies under Tesi’s Venture Bridge -programme, Emberion is the first one to receive a follow-on investment.
“Emberion has a team with the know-how and innovation to disrupt the global machine vision market. The product was brought into enter the market in 2021 with a promising start. This funding enables the company to commercially scale the business even further, towards achieving the market leader status,“ Samppa Sirviö, Investment Manager at Tesi, comments on the investment.
