Finnish institutional investors have invested a total of EUR 30 million in the new Sentica Terveysteknologia I fund. The largest investors are Etera Mutual Pension Insurance Company, Finnish Industry Investment Ltd and Mutual Insurance Company Pension Fennia. The fund will invest primarily in companies offering healthcare equipment, software, information systems and services, as well as in M&As in the biotechnology sector.
The aim is to participate in sector restructurings in a new way. The fund will focus its operations on majority investments in smallish and established companies in the healthcare sector and build them into viable entities with good development prospects.
