Finnish Industry Investment has given a MEUR 10 investment commitment to the CapMan Buyout IX LP fund, which specialises in buyouts in the Nordic countries. The funds size is currently MEUR 221, and the fund is still fundraising.
The fund makes majority investments in buyouts in the Nordic countries in those sectors that are mature, consolidating or undergoing change. Target companies have a turnover of MEUR 50-500. The funds objectives are the growth, improved profitability and clearer strategic focus of its portfolio companies.
