Karma Ventures, a venture capital investor in Baltic and Northern Europe, has raised its second fund, sized at EUR 100 million. Karma Ventures II will invest in around 20 early-stage, deep tech software companies in Europe that have potential for international growth. The fund intends to invest in companies in Finland to a significant extent, as well.
”With its networks and knowhow, Karma creates a bridge between the Finnish and strongly developing Baltic vc ecosystems. Karma also strongly supports both startups in recruiting skilled international commercial talent as well as staff and entrepreneurs in their wellbeing which creates positive impact. For these reasons, we decided to join as investors”, explains Matias Kaila, Director of Fund Investments.
