Tesi exits its investment in edtech startup Kide Science
US-based Accelerate Learning has acquired the internationally awarded Finnish edtech startup Kide Science. Thus, Tesi exits its investment in the Finnish company.
Internationally awarded, Kide Science’s play- and story-based education solutions help early childhood educators equip 3-to-8-year-olds with life-long skills of discovering and problem-solving. With the acquisition, the company will get a new capable owner while Accelerate Learning can now develop their early childhood education solution catalogue and expand globally. The Kide Science team will continue working from Helsinki, Finland.
Tesi’s investment in 2022 was made from the Venture Bridge special investment programme, established to mitigate the effects of the corona pandemic and closed for initial investment in March the same year. Applications received by the deadline were processed normally.
