Inveni Capital, a new Finnish-German venture capital company, raised over EUR 20 million for its Inveni Life Sciences Fund l in the first round of fund-raising. First-round investors included Finnish Industry Investment Ltd, the University of Helsinkis funds, private investors and other funds. The fund-raising will continue and the funds target size is EUR 5070 million.
Inveni Life Sciences Fund I invests in early- and growth-stage life science companies that have a good opportunity of international success. Inveni Capital focuses its investments on medical technology companies operating in Northern and continental Europe, and on pharmaceutical companies, with the emphasis on Finland and Germany.
