MetGen (www.metgen.com) is Finnish SME that has invented a disruptive, cost-efficient technology to develop and tailor-made industrial enzymes to harsh conditions and a variety of lignocellulosic substrates, based on the individual needs of each customer. MetGen’s technology platform makes it possible to increase yields with reduced costs, reduce energy consumption, and minimize the final product’s environmental footprint. It can thus contribute to the development of low-cost sugars from cellulosic feedstock and reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.
