E-methane developer Ren-Gas welcomes new investors and secures EUR 16 million in growth financing – Tesi among investors
Ren-Gas, a P2X project developer (Power-to-X) of e-methane, has completed a EUR 16 million equity financing round, bringing in Taaleri and Tesi as new local investors. They join Ren-Gas’ existing and largest shareholders in addition to the founders: Allianz Capital Partners and Suomen Tavara ja Raha Oy, an investment company of Ilkka Herlin. The two investors also participated in the announced round with significant contributions.
The new financing enables Ren-Gas, founded in 2021, to capitalize on the accelerating development of hydrogen fuel markets by bringing its portfolio of projects to the European markets and execution stage. In Finland, the company has a pipeline of projects in six locations, the key project in Tampere waiting to be built, and it cooperates with local energy companies on those and future projects.

Tesi’s investment was its first in the company. Tesi’s new investment strategy strengthens its capacity to support the creation of new industries in Finland, including projects that drive clean transition.
