Steady Energy, developer of small modular nuclear reactor technology, listed on Nasdaq First North Finland

Trading in Steady Energy’s shares commenced on Nasdaq Helsinki’s First North marketplace on 2 October 2026. Tesi, as an anchor investor, has an ownership stake of approximately 9%.

Steady Energy was founded in 2023 as a spin-off from a VTT research project. Today, it is one of the world’s few small modular reactor technology companies focused on district heating. Steady Energy’s LDR-50 reactor is designed to provide cities and energy companies with a reliable, scalable and low-carbon alternative to combustion-based heat production.

Tesi’s involvement strengthens domestic ownership and the company’s financing base as it moves towards its first technology delivery agreements. Tesi made its initial investment in Steady Energy in 2025.
