Education: MSc (Econ), B.Soc.Sc.
I’ve seen the industrial business landscape from many different angles since the mid-1990s: at Skanska, the fast-paced Finnish startup of a Swedish global company; at Kemira, the world from the perspective of a Finnish, globally operating and rapidly growing listed company; at Tikkurila, the journey of a spin-off, IPO, and Finnish brand icon; and at the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland, the realities and strengths of Finland’s export industry. I’ve had the opportunity to get to know dozens—if not hundreds—of fascinating, internationally competitive companies, entrepreneurs, and business leaders, and I’ve seen firsthand what global competition really means.
My first permanent job was on what was then Finland’s largest restructuring site, established on the ruins of a bankruptcy, in Turku.
Now, as a member of Tesi’s management team, I’m responsible for communications and public affairs. In my previous roles, I have been in charge at the executive level of finance, communications, brand, investor and public relations, and industrial policy advocacy.
What fascinates me at Tesi is its societal impact, new top-tier companies, and the channeling of private capital into scalable growth. Here, I can proudly wear my “Finland hat.” It’s a privilege to be part of accelerating the growth of Finnish companies and developing Finland’s capital market. Let’s stay in touch!
