The changes in the Board’s composition are part of a broader restructuring by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment (MEAE) to enhance the economic policy role of special financing institutions and make collaboration between these organizations more strategic. This marks the first round of appointments under this initiative.
The MEAE extends its gratitude to former Chairman Jacob af Forselles, Vice Chair Riku Huttunen, and Board member Timo Leino for their valuable contributions to strengthening the growth and competitiveness of Finnish companies.
These changes were made by the Finnish Government, as the sole shareholder of Tesi (Finnish Industry Investment Ltd), represented by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, on December 4, 2024. Decisions regarding the Board of Finnvera were made at the same time.
