3TS Capital Partners, a European technology-focused growth capital investor, announces the final closing of its Fund IV at the size of EUR 111 million (first closing in 2021). The firm’s prior multi-generation funds totaling over EUR 300 million have made a strong, positive impact on the innovation and technology ecosystem development across Europe, by investing in over 50 companies out of which more than half have been successfully exited.
Fund IV commitments came from a broad group of premier institutional investors including European Investment Fund (EIF), Erste Group Bank AG, Tesi, SZTA (Széchenyi Funds) as well as several family offices and technology entrepreneurs.
The new fund will continue 3TS’ mission of backing rapidly growing technology companies, across software, tech-enabled services, and e-commerce sectors, by leading investment rounds of EUR 5-20 million. As with the company’s previous funds, Fund IV will invest mainly in Central European and Eastern European companies, but Finland will also play a significant role in the fund’s investment strategy.
3TS has a vast understanding and extensive experience of the Central European and Eastern European venture capital and growth investment market. Introducing this know-how to Finnish market will open up new business opportunities and diversify the selection of financing opportunities available to Finnish growth companies.
Tesi (officially Finnish Industry Investment Ltd) is a state-owned, market-driven investment company that invests in venture capital and private equity funds and directly in Finnish startups and growth companies. tesi.fi | X (Twitter) | LinkedIn | Instagram | Newsletter
